A second-hand brass lamp

The lamp is a brass arm from a second-hand shop near the station. It runs warm. Pencil lines under it pick up a brown edge that the window light does not give.

It is switched on after the walk, not before. Daytime notes are made by the window. Evening corrections are made under the arm.
